Everest Expedition
Mt. Everest is a great mountaineering
and top of the world peak. Though it was named Mt Everest
by the Survey of India in 1856 after Sir George Everest, retired
Surveyor-General of India, the peak had been known by other
Names long before. The Nepalese call it Sagarmatha and the
Sherpas call it Chomolungma. The Chinese now call it Qomolangma
feng. Sagarmatha literally means 'head of the sky' the name
was invented in 1956 by Babu ram Acharya, a Nepali historian.
Mountaineering and trekking in Nepal
has relied heavily on the progress and encouragement developed
by various expeditions to Mt. Everest. So, much of the attraction
of Nepal in the early days resulted from the discovery that
the highest peak in the world laid within the forbidden and
isolated kingdom. To climb the highest mountain in the world
is the dream of virtually every mountaineer as Sir E. Hillary
& Tenzing Norgay first climbed it in 1953. Everest embodies
the very symbol of achievement and will always be the mountain
to climb and we provide professionally led strong team of
Sherpas to make the expedition a grand success. Particularly
there are two way to summit Mt. Everest one from Nepal side
and another from Tibet side but above the base camp there
are so many routes to summit. Although there are a dozen or
so routes on Mt. Everest we follow the classical route, traditionally
the most reliable way to the summit. The best route up Everest
is the south Col route from Nepal, which way u follows up
to highest peak of the world Mt. Everest.
