Pumori expedition
Pumori is the most popular mountain
for those who whish to climb 7000m peaks in the Himalayas
of Nepal. It is a fantastic mountaineering objective; the
peak straddles the Nepalese-Tibetan border, allowing a view
of the great contrast between the arid Tibetan Plateau to
the north and west. Normally, three camps are set in the approach
above the base camp. Camp I or advanced base camp at 5700m,
camp II at 6200m, camp III at 6850m. After that there are
two climbing ranges; one from Tibet side and other is from
Nepal side. Between these 2 sides the Nepal side is easier
to Summit Pumori that is normal route for the climbing is
South East Ridge. So it is easy to reach on the summit of
Pumori 7145m.
Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu.
Day 02: Sight seeing around Kathmandu
Day 03: Prepared Expedition & Briefing in Ministry of
Tourism
Day 04: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding Resort.
Day 05: Trek to Namche Bazaar
Day 06: Trek to Khumjung
Day 07: Khumjung for acclimatization.
Day 08: Trek to Tengboche Monastery
Day 09: Trek to Dingboche
Day 10: Trek to Lobuche
Day 11: Lobuche, acclimatization day.
Day 12: Pumori Base Camp.
Day 13-29: Climbing Period
Mt. Pumori.
Day 30: Cleaning up Base Camp.
Day 31: Trek to Dingboche.
Day 32: Trek to Khumjung.
Day 33: Fly from Syangboche to Kathmandu. Transfer to your
hotel.
Day 34-35: Kathmandu.
Day 36: Departure.
