Hiking Around Kathmandu
The Kathmandu Valley has an exotic
setting. A tier of green mountain wall surrounds it, which
tower mighty snow-capped peaks in winter. The Kathmandu Valley
covers an area of 218 square miles and is situated at 4,423
feet (1,348m) above the sea level. It consists of three main
towns of great historic, ethnic and cultural interest: Kathmandu,
Patan and Bhaktapur.
Day 01 Pick up from
the airport and transfer to hotel.
Day 02 Take by vehicle to Nagarjune gate
and walk to the top. Have lunch there with the spectacular
Mountain View. Walk back after lunch to the Nagarjune gate
and go to the world heritage site Shyambhu nath, back to Hotel
in the evening.
Day 03 Pick up from
hotel and go to Godavari. Hike to the Phulchoki top. Visit
the Patan Durbar Square afterwards and then back to hotel.
Day 04 Travel by
vehicle to Bhaktapur and walk to the top of Nagarkot. Trek
down and visit Bhadgaon and then back to hotel.
Day 05 Travel by vehicle
to Budhanilkantha walks up to the Shivapuri for the view of
Kathmandu Valley and mountain scenery. Walk back and visit
the world heritage site, Pashupatinath and Baudhanath. Back
to hotel after the visit.
Day 06 Visit the
Kathmandu Durbar Square and time for shopping
