Lobuche peak

Lobuche peak is regarded as one of the most demanding trekking peaks in the Everest region (northeast of Kathmandu). The route starts from the Namche Bazaar. With several high passes to cross, the route provides an excellent acclimatization. From Namche, we leave the main trail of the Everest Base camp and trek through the village of Khumjung to the Gokyo Valley. If conditions are right, we head for the base camp over the 5300m Cho La, which will help with acclimatization for the ascent of Lobuche. From the base camp we allow several days for the climb in case we need to wait for a clear weather.
