Yala Peak
The Langtang region is one of the
most attractive Himalayan destinations in terms of its scenic
beauty and accessibility from Kathmandu. This adventurous
trek combines the beautiful scenery of the Langtang Valley
and with the chance to climb the Yala Peak. The Langtang Valley
is located at 30km north of Kathmandu, close to the border
of Tibet. The valley has dominated by Langtang Lirung (7,246m),
which is the highest peak in the area. A splendid circular
trek can be made by crossing the Ganja La pass and descends
through the ridges and valleys of the Helambu district.
