This is the most popular river in Nepal probably because journey to different tourist destinations can be combined with rafting. After a few hours driving from Kathmandu or Pokhara, it offers 1-3 days rafting with exciting rapids such as "Upset, Bijuli, Lady’s Delight, and Surprise etc". Especially in the monsoon it becomes so tough having heart touched rapids, whirlpools and waves. Rafting in the low part of this river is fitted even for the school children and the aged holidaymakers.
