Kathmandu - Dhulikhel Tour (4 nights / 5 days)

Dhulikhel is a fascinating old Newar town at the foot of a nearby hill, some 32 kms east of Kathmandu. This ancient town is situated 30 km east of Kathmandu on the side of the Arniko Rajmarga (Kathmandu-Kodari highway).

It is a lovely place famous for its scenic beauty and old tradition. From here one can have a complete panoramic view of the snowy ranges. Many options for half/full day hiking are possible from Dhulikhel.

Sunset and sunrise
Dhulikhel is at 1500 meters. Many tourists make early morning trips to Dhulikhel to see the awesome sunrise over the mountains. You will be thrilled to see the sun coming up from behind the mighty Himalayas. Even worth getting up at 4 am.

Day 01: Arrival and transfer to hotel. Welcome dinner.

Day 02: After breakfast, half-day sightseeing tour of Soyambhunath, Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath. Afternoon sightseeing of Kathmandu Durbar Squares.

Day 03: After breakfast, either departure transfer to Dhulikhel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04: After enjoying the sunrise and the mountains, depart for Katmandu. Visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square en route. Arrive in Katmandu and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 05: Departure transfer to the airport for onward flight.
