Annapurna
Circuit trekking
Annapurna
Circuit is one of the world's classic treks. The trek starts
off at Besisar and ascends along the Marsyangdi river valley.
It follows the gorge of Marshyangdi River through lush fields
of paddy, innumerable tiny streams, waterfalls and beautiful
villages. Eventually it emerges into the high desert country
at Manang (3597m). The trek ascends in fairly gently pace,
and thus reduces the chance of suffering from the altitude
sickness. Furthermore, we will spend a day for acclimation
to altitude sickness before crossing the Thorang-La (5416m).
The descent is equally amazing and distinct. The trails switches
over to the Kali Gandaki River valley and descends through
the villages of Muktinath, Jomsom, and Ghorepani and terminate
in Pokhara, giving you enough time to observe the people and
their customs. The close up views of the Annapurna range,
varied ecosystems, diverse cultures and an ever-changing landscape
- lush, green paddy fields and oak forests, arid deserts and
the deepest gorge in the world make the Annapurna Circuit
Trek as one of the most popular treks in the world.
